PERTH, Australia – The UFC 284 pre-fight press conference took place Friday. The two title-fight participants and the featured main card bout were in attendance, including lightweight champion Islam Makhachev , who defends his title vs. featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski in the main event; as well as the interim featherweight title-fight co-headliner between Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett , and Perth’s own Jack Della Maddalena vs. Randy Brown . There was plenty of banter to go around among the six competitors, and while nothing got overly heated, it was clear everyone is ready for battle inside the octagon.
