So the way they’re looking at it, why can’t friends fight each other? “We do it every day in the gym,” Henderson said. On Thursday, right after Henderson finished working out for fans and the media in Boston, he crossed paths with Cerrone, who was next up in the order during the UFC’s first official media outing for UFC Fight Night 59. Cerrone (25-6 MMA, 13-3 UFC) and former lightweight champion Henderson (21-4 MMA 9-2 UFC) meet for the third time in the UFC Fight Night 59 co-main event, which takes place Sunday at TD Garden in Boston and airs on FOX Sports 1. The two met twice previously in the WEC, with Henderson winning both fights.
