You may or may not follow American football. If you don’t then this probably doesn’t pertain to you and your futbol-loving, rugby-watching sense of humor. But if you’ve followed the NFL over the past week, the New England Patriots and their coach, Bill Belichick, have been under scrutiny because it was discovered that they have deflated balls. Footballs, that is. This, apparently, is a bad thing and and it’s been nicknamed “deflategate.” The topic has NFL media talking so much about balls that you can’t help but wonder if they’re really concerned about under-inflated footballs or just making a long-running joke about male genitals
