Sanders had to retire after the first round with a knee injury, giving Cedeno the TKO victory, albeit a bit of a reluctant one. “That’s not the way I’d like to finish it, I’d like to finish by pounding him out – but that’s what our strategy was, so I’m happy with that,” Cedeno said.
