Jake Matthews , the young 19-year-old Australian on “The Ultimate Fighter Nations,” got a crash course in MMA training during the show’s filming. The reality show, which features a Canadian vs. Australia theme this year, continues tonight on FOX Sports 1. However, with filming completed for the pre-taped show, MMAjunkie caught up with Matthews to get his biggest takeaway from his time on the series. While many past cast members have talked about hellish experiences – and more than a few saying no amount of money could convince them to go through the process again – the 170-pound Matthews said he’d gladly do it all over again. “It was more the work ethic, the frequency of the training, training twice a day for two hours at a time,” Matthews said when asked about his biggest takeaway.
