UFC Fight Night 94 took place at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. It aired on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, Michael Johnson (17-10 MMA, 9-6 UFC) steamrolled fellow lightweight Dustin Poirier (20-5 MMA, 12-4 UFC) via first-round knockout – while halting his opponent’s quick rise up the ranks. In the co-headliner, middleweight Derek Brunson (16-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) stopped Uriah Hall (12-7 MMA, 5-5 UFC) and registered his fourth straight first-round knockout – despite some calls of an early stoppage – but still can’t seem to win one of those $50,000 bonuses
