Ahead of the card, which airs on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass from Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil, veteran MMA analyst “Showdown” Joe Ferraro goes inside the headliner in this week’s edition of “The Edge.” Alves (21-9 MMA, 14-6 UFC), fighting in his home country of Brazil for the first time since March 2003 before he was in the UFC, is a former welterweight title challenger – he fell short against Georges St-Pierre at UFC 100 in 2009. Condit (29-8 MMA, 6-4 UFC) is more than a 2-1 favorite and is a former interim welterweight champion. Ferraro breaks it down in the above video.
