Heavyweight prospect William Knight is wasting no time in his bid to earn a full UFC contract. Knight looks to register his third win in just over four months with a victory at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 80, which takes place Nov. 22 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia and streams live on UFC Fight Pass. Knight (6-0) impressed UFC brass at Dana White’s Contender Series 24 in August, finishing Herdem Alacabek in the final seconds of the fight. It wasn’t quite enough to convince the UFC president to pull the trigger on a full contract, but he instead opted to hand the powerful 31-year-old a developmental deal .
