Filed under: News , UFC , Videos While Dustin Poirier had an impressive 11-fight run in the UFC’s featherweight division, his performances since moving back up to 155 pounds make you wonder why he ever bothered cutting down. This past June, Poirier returned him to his native Louisiana, where he absolutely destroyed an always tough Yancy Medeiros in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 68 matchup. Poirier (18-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) is 2-0 since returning to lightweight, and he picked up the “Performance of the Night” bonuses in both wins. Later this month, he faces Joseph Duffy (14-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in the main event of UFC Fight Night 76, which takes place Oct. 24 at 3Arena in Dublin.
