Carla Esparza Former Invicta FC strawweight champion Carla Esparza made history once again on Dec. 12 at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in Las Vegas. Esparza submitted fellow “TUF 20″ finalist Rose Namajunas with a rear-naked choke to become the first UFC women’s strawweight champion.
