Filed under: News , UFC Marion Reneau Fresh off of a dominant victory in her UFC debut this past month, Marion Reneau  embraced the role of underdog and picked up another impressive win on Sunday at UFC Fight Night 61 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The 37-year-old Californian shocked the Brazilian crowd by submitting rising star Jessica Andrade  early in the first round. Leading up to the bout, Reneau (6-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) took exception to comments from Andrade (12-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) that implied Reneau’s ground game was not as good as her Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt would suggest. The challenge only served as motivation for Reneau, who showcased her slick submission skills in the brief fight.
