David Branch WSOF’s return to the promotion’s home base in Las Vegas appears to be set for April 2, as the company recently contacted the Nevada State Athletic Commission and requested to reserve that date at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. The request will be heard at the NSAC’s next monthly meeting, which is scheduled for Feb. 17 in Las Vegas. WSOF officials declined to comment on the proposed date when contacted by MMAjunkie. However additional people with knowledge of the negotiations said the promotion is expected to make an announcement in the near future. Those people spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to publicly discuss such matters.
