Rousimar Palhares WSOF matchmaker Ali Abdelaziz said now-ex-welterweight champion Rousimar Palhares remains under contract with the promotion, but there are more immediate concerns – chiefly his wellbeing and fate with the Nevada State Athletic Commission. “The guy, we all know he has some problems, and he’s working on them,” Abdelaziz told MMAjunkie. “He’s got a great team around him (with) the Nogueira brothers and other people, and it’s going to be up to the athletic commission. The Nevada commission is going to make a decision, and after that, we’ll follow. We have to respect their decision.
