When Brady Hiestand stepped into the UFC cage Saturday night, he did so as one of the youngest fighters on the promotion’s roster. Although he didn’t win , Hiestand was competitive throughout the closely-contested fighter against fellow “TUF 29” finalist Ricky Turcios and even received praise from Dana White after the fight. The UFC president told reporters at a UFC on ESPN 30 post-fight news conference Hiestand will remain on the roster despite the loss. Hiestand is only 22, but believe it or not, there are five fighters younger than him already housed under the UFC banner
