Former WWE star Alberto Del Rio knows better than most the differences between making it big in MMA and doing so in professional wrestling. Del Rio – also known as Alberto al Patron outside of WWE – comes from a famed lucha libre family, as the son of Dos Caras and the nephew of Mil Mascaras. The latter was the first true breakthrough Mexican wrestler in the U.S., appearing on magazine covers and headlining arenas from New York’s Madison Square Garden to Los Angeles’ Olympic Auditorium throughout the 1960s and ’70s.
