Regardless if he’s fighting a big name or a complete unknown, undefeated heavyweight Augusto Sakai said he approaches every fight with the same determination to have his hand raised. That’s why Sakai (9-0 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) wasn’t particularly upset when he had to pull out of a scheduled bout with Cheick Kongo earlier this year due to an injury. He simply healed up and waited for the next one, which takes place Friday at Bellator 155 against Dan Charles (10-3 MMA, 2-2 BMMA). “I don’t get unmotivated (by lesser-known opponents),” Sakai told MMAjunkie. “I’ll be just as motivated, as all my other fights.
