Eddie Alvarez ’s debut in the bareknuckle boxing world was as advertised. Alvarez had a wild, back and forth battle with fellow MMA veteran and former UFC fighter Chad Mendes in the co-main event of BKFC 41 back in April. It was a crazy war that had both fighters hurt and down throughout the five-round contest. In the end, Alvarez did enough to earn himself a split decision win.
