Cage Warriors champion  Jim Alers thinks he has what it takes to hang with the world’s top 145-pound fighters in the UFC. By no means is Alers (11-1) overlooking Graham Turner (23-7), whom he’ll face in defense of his featherweight title at Tuesday’s Cage Warriors 63 event, but he thinks a win should be enough to earn the chance to test his skills against the best of the best. “I don’t know what Sean Shelby’s waiting for,” Alers told MMAjunkie Radio. “I watch the fights all the time and I know I can beat most of these guys in the UFC featherweight division.” While Alers once was known as a fighter who was dangerous in the early portion of a fight, the American recently has developed into more than that
