Welterweight headliners Jim Wallhead (169.3 pounds) and Danny Roberts (170.4) both today successfully made weight for Saturday’s Cage Warriors 68 event. The show takes place at Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. The main card streams in North America on MMAjunkie following prelims on Facebook. Although the main-event fighters were on weight for the 10-fight lineup, a number of others weren’t. Marcelo Costa (140.3) badly missed weight for his co-headliner with bantamweight Ronnie Mann (135.2). As a result, he’s been forced to surrender 40 percent of his purse to his opponent.
