Earlier this month, Bellator announced that before its current heavyweight grand prix wraps up, it will launch a welterweight tournament, as well. We don’t know the field yet, but current 170-pound champion Rory MacDonald is likely to be part of it … but not till after he challenges newly minted middleweight champ Gegard Mousasi for the 185-pound belt on Sept. 29.
