After a less than satisfactory performance in a loss to Myles Jury at UFC 171, Diego Sanchez is out to show, as much to himself as to his legion of fight fans, that Jury wasn’t fighting the usual Diego, the best Diego. Leading up to the fight with Jury, Sanchez felt he was on point, but he made a bad choice prior to the fight that led to “no pep in his step.” “I want to show where I am as a mixed martial arts fighter because I am better than I ever have been in my career.” He’s preparing to make a quick return against Ross Pearson at UFC Fight Night Albuquerque on June 7.
