Former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez (26-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) today said on his Twitter account that a rumored fight between him and former UFC and WEC champion Anthony Pettis (18-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) is good to go for the UFC’s January card in Boston. UFC officials have not made a formal announcement of the fight. The card, likely to be UFC Fight Night 81, is set for Jan.
