One of the biggest surprises to come out of Bellator 139 on June 26 was Hisaki Kato ’s second-round knockout of Joe Schilling . Kato, who had never fought outside the Heat promotion prior to his Bellator debut, not only knocked out the favored Schilling, but did so in spectacular fashion via a Superman punch. “I had a big knockout, but it was more than I was expecting,” Kato told MMAWeekly.com. “I was looking for a KO, but not like that, so I’m really happy.” The punch was something Kato had anticipated he could land if he set up his opponent properly.
