Then there’s Diego Sanchez . The fighters, who all take part in Saturday’s FOX Sports 1-televised event at Monterrey Arena in Monterrey, Mexico, weighed in on the pay-per-view event’s aftermath. Many said Holm’s (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) second-round head-kick knockout of heavy favorite Ronda Rousey (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) was as inspiring as it was stunning. “Watching fights like that are awesome,” UFC Fight Night 78 co-headliner and featherweight contender Ricardo Lamas said. “It reminds us all that all these fighters in here are human, and anybody can beat anybody on any given night.” Then there’s Lamas’ opponent, the always-entertaining Sanchez, who quickly launched into an impassioned speech about his Team Jackson-Winkeljohn teammate and new UFC women’s bantamweight champion
