Georges St-Pierre ‘s longtime trainer believes the welterweight champ’s recent fight with Johny Hendricks was decided in the fifth round. Firas Zahabi today told MMAjunkie that he gave rounds one and three to St-Pierre and two and four to Hendricks in the UFC 167 headliner, but St-Pierre won the final frame. “Georges was more active in round five,” Firas Zahabi today told MMAjunkie. “He got two takedowns and landed more strikes.” While Zahabi wasn’t 100 percent sure that judges would agree with his personal scorecard, he hoisted the champion on his shoulders afterward.
