In the main event, Demian Maia (20-6 MMA, 14-6 UFC) added another win to his lengthy UFC resume with a unanimous-decision victory over Ryan LaFlare (11-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in a grappling-heavy welterweight affair. The rest of the main also had a number of notable winners, and it was a sweep for the Brazilians. Erick Silva (18-5 MMA, 6-4 UFC), Leonardo Santos (14-3-1 MMA, 3-0-1 UFC), Amanda Nunes (10-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC), Gilbert Burns (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Godofredo Pepey (12-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) all earned victories – and finished their respective opponents in the process.
