Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson (23-2-1 MMA, 11-1-1 UFC) headlined the card and defended his belt yet again with a unanimous-decision victory over rival John Dodson (17-7 MMA, 6-2 UFC). Prior to the title rematch, a number of meaningful fights rounded out the main card as Andrei Arlovski (25-10 MMA, 14-4 UFC) continued his fairytale resurgence, Anthony Johnson (20-5 MMA, 11-5 UFC) scored another big knockout, Corey Anderson (6-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) earned his most notable win to date, and Paige VanZant (6-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) added more momentum to her hype train. After every event, fans wonder whom the winners will be matched up with next. And with another night of UFC action in the rearview mirror, it’s time to look forward, put on a pair of Joe Silva and Sean Shelby’s shoes, and play UFC matchmaker for UFC 191’s winning fighters.
