UNCASVILLE, Conn. – After a back-and-forth 15 minutes with former Bellator title challenger Alejandra Lara, Kana Watanabe wasn’t sure how things were going to go. The flyweights opened up the Bellator 255 main card Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., to help usher in the promotion’s new broadcast era on Showtime. In the end, Watanabe (10-0-1 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) eked out a decision over Lara (9-4 MMA, 3-3 BMMA). But she said when it went to the judges, she didn’t know if her hand would be raised or not
