July’s WSOF 11 event has a third bout, and it features the promotional debut of longtime UFC contender Melvin Guillard . Officials recently announced Guillard (31-13-2) will fight fellow lightweight Gesias Cavalcante (18-7-1) at the summer event. WSOF 11 takes place July 5, and the main card airs on NBC Sports Network following prelims on MMAjunkie. A host city and venue haven’t been announced. Guillard was served his walking papers in March following a decision loss to Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night 37. It dropped him to 2-5 (with one no-contest) since a five-fight winning streak that moved the 31-year-old into title contention in 2011.
