You just might be the perfect candidate if you have: – The ability to quickly and efficiently write and publish breaking news, fight bookings, event updates and other notes at all hours of the day, especially during event weekends/overnights – Past writing/editing experience, preferably in a newsroom/team environment – A proven knowledge of MMA and contacts within the industry – A strong knowledge of AP style and general grammar rules – A solid understanding and proven experience with Adobe Photoshop/photo-editing skills – Experience with WordPress and/or other content management systems and homepage programming – A good knowledge of basic HTML and database management – A solid understanding of communication law, to vet potentially troublesome stories – Preferably some experience with video editing, as well as digital photography Does that sound like you?
