ONE FC has been putting together female fights with increasing regularity and officials from the promotion confirmed to MMAWeekly.com that the latest addition to the roster is former boxing world champion and Filipino-American Ana Julaton. Julaton has twice held the WBA and IBO 122-pound belts and has a professional boxing record that currently stands at 13-4-1. The 33-year-old lives and trains in California, but is of Filipino descent and will reportedly make her MMA debut at ONE FC: Rise of Heroes on May 2. Known as “The Hurricane,” she made her pro boxing debut in 2007 and after winning four and drawing one of her first five bouts, Julaton was offered a shot at the WBC International Super Bantamweight Title in only her sixth fight. She dropped a split decision to Dominga Oliva, but bounced back to win her next two fights, picking up the WBO World Super Bantamweight Title and IBA World Super Bantamweight Title in the process. In total, Julaton has fought in seven world title bouts, winning five and losing two.
