A veteran referee and fighter are among those overseeing UFC 169′s main event on Saturday at Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center. According to referee and judges’ assignments issued by the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board, which regulates the pay-per-view event, Herb Dean will be the third man in the cage for a bantamweight title bout between champ Renan Barao (31-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) and challenger Urijah Faber (30-6 MMA, 6-2 UFC). Judging the bout is Cardo Urso, Eric Colon and retired UFC fighter Ricardo Almeida, who pulls double duty in the co-headliners
