On Friday’s FOX Sports 1-televised main card at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, Choi (15-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) blasted veteran featherweight Thiago Tavares (20-7-1 MMA, 10-7-1 UFC) with a beautiful combination for a first-round knockout victory (via Twitter ): WOW. Another 1st round KO for Doo Ho Choi! Right straights do not get prettier than that. #TUFFinale https://t.co/uk6fKrL4TK — FOX Sports: UFC (@UFCONFOX) July 9, 2016 Choi, a 25-year-old South Korean, is now 3-0 in the UFC with three first-round knockouts, the past two of which have earned “Performance of the Night” bonuses. With Friday’s performance, Choi is likely to get some marquee opponents (he mentioned Cub Swanson in his post-fight interview).
