Officials recently announced lightweight titleholder Thiago Moises (7-1) will meet challenger and former UFC fighter E.J. Chavez (10-2) in the RFA 38 headliner. RFA 38 takes place June 3 at The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif., and the main card airs on AXS TV. “I’m excited about bringing another world title fight to Orange County,” RFA President Ed Soares stated. “Thiago Moises won the RFA lightweight title in February with a helicopter armbar that should win ‘Submission of the Year.’ He will defend his title for the first time at RFA 38 against E.J.
