The MMA world got a little more interesting today when former UFC and WEC lightweight champion Benson Henderson announced his signing with Bellator . Henderson (23-5 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) made 14 UFC appearances during his octagon career and was prominently featured in all of those bouts. His departure from the organization is noteworthy because of the increasing frequency of free agents in the sport.
