Dillashaw in Colorado, he said he wants to make it clear he hasn’t parted ways with Team Alpha Male the way Dillashaw did this past year. Benavidez (23-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) has been one of the faces of Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, Calif., alongside the likes of Urijah Faber and Chad Mendes. For Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 82 fight against Zach Makovsky (19-6 MMA, 3-2 UFC), though, “Joe-Jitsu” opted to hop around several camps. That included Elevation Fight Team in Colorado, as well as Jackson-Wink MMA in Albuquerque, N.M. A recent post on the Elevation MMA Facebook page hinted Benavidez could be a permanent member of the team, but the UFC flyweight contender said that’s not the case.
