The former UFC heavyweight champion was right, because he earned a first-round knockout victory . Mir (18-9 MMA, 16-9 UFC) weathered an early storm from Duffee (9-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) and set up a massive right hand that led to the end of the bout. It was Mir’s second-straight win, which marked the first time he’s earned consecutive victories since 2011.
