UFC heavyweight Travis Browne is in the midst of a remarkable run in his weight class, but despite his recent success, “Hapa” is not satisfied quite yet. Browne (16-1-1 MMA, 7-1-1 UFC) recorded his third consecutive first-round knockout win when he stopped Josh Barnett (33-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC) on Saturday at UFC 168 inside Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena to further establish himself as a title contender. While the win over the grizzled vet came as a surprise to most, Browne said the way the fight played out was “expected” on his end. “This was expected by our camp, and I think a lot of people who know who I am as a fighter and an athlete expected this,” Browne told MMAjunkie
