DALLAS – Tyron Woodley (13-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) got the big win he needed, though his victory over Carlos Condit (29-8 MMA, 6-4 UFC) came in a manner no one wanted to see. The welterweight bout co-headlined Saturday’s UFC 171 pay-per-view event, which took place at Dallas’ American Airlines Center. Woodley was finding openings for lunging shots and was ahead on the scorecards, thanks in part to some timely takedowns, but in the second round, Condit crashed to the mat with an obvious knee injury .
