But after moving into the sport, the top bantamweight contender quickly excelled, and he’s now a win away from accomplishing what teammate Urijah Faber, former WEC titleholder Eddie Wineland and top prospect Michael McDonald couldn’t: dethrone UFC bantamweight champion Barao.
