Roan Carneiro LOS ANGELES –  Roan Carneiro made a major statement with his first fight in the UFC since being released by the promotion more than six years ago, choking  Mark Munoz out cold with a rear-naked choke. Carneiro (20-9 MMA, 2-3 UFC) made his return to the promotion after compiling a 7-1 record on the regional scene since being cut following a loss to Ryo Chonan at UFC 88. The middleweight bout closed out the preliminary card of today’s UFC 184 event at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
