John Makdessi MONTREAL – With his left leg bruised and swollen from a barrage of leg kicks, John Makdessi looked like he might have his hands full against Shane Campbell . But one strong right hand from Makdessi (13-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) turned the tide, dropping Campbell (11-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) to the mat and setting the stage for a TKO stoppage at 4:53 of Round 1. The 160-pound catchweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC 186 event at Bell Centre in Montreal. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
