Patrick Cote MONTREAL –  Patrick Cote outworked  Joe Riggs for the bulk of their spirited three-round bout, pressuring Riggs on the feet and surprising him at times on the mat. In the end, all three judges rewarded Cote (21-9 MMA, 7-9 UFC) with the victory, handing him a unanimous nod (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) over Riggs (40-16 MMA, 4-6 UFC) in this battle of MMA veterans. The welterweight bout closed out the preliminary card of today’s UFC 186 event at Bell Centre in Montreal.
