HOUSTON – Julianna Pena survived one near submission and an illegal knee to the head in her bout with Jessica Eye , and her reward was a unanimous decision victory after a competitive three-round bout. In a grappling-heavy fight, Pena (7-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) largely dominated Eye (11-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC) from top position, earning scores of 29-27 from all three judges after a point deduction cost Eye in the second round. The women’s bantamweight bout opened up the main card of today’s UFC 192 event at Toyota Center in Houston. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. To the surprise of almost no one, Pena wasted little time trying to get this fight to the floor.
