LAS VEGAS – It took Stipe Miocic longer to make his verbal statement at UFC 195 than it did to make his physical one against Andrei Arlovski . With two short right hands, Miocic (14-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) put Arlovski (25-11 MMA, 14-5 UFC) down, then a more follow-up punches put him away at the 0:54 mark of the first round. The heavyweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC 195 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. The win was swift and brutal for Miocic, who was visibly fired up after putting Arlovski away in the first minute of the fight.
