Tate and Diaz picked up “Performance of the Night” awards, and Diaz and McGregor took home “Fight of the Night” honors. UFC President Dana White announced the winners at the post-event press conference, which MMAjunkie attended. In the main event, Diaz (19-10 MMA, 14-8 UFC) pulled a big upset when he submitted McGregor (19-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) in the second round with a rear-naked choke. The loss was McGregor’s first in the UFC.
