Walt Harris LAS VEGAS – Cody East had a lot of hype coming into UFC 197 after his appearance on the UFC web series “Dana White: Lookin for a Fight.” Walt Harris didn’t care about the hype, however, en route to scoring a first-round TKO. The heavyweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC 197 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims on FOX Sports 1 and a main card on pay-per-view. Harris (8-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC) opened the fight with some kicks to the body and legs, but East (12-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) continued to move forward. East threw his own kicks but eventually drifted low, landing a front kick to Harris’ cup that resulted in a brief pause in the action
