NEW YORK – Katlyn Chookagian has had a conversation with Valentina Shevchenko about fighting for the UFC women’s flyweight title after UFC 244. Chookagian (12-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) fights Jennifer Maia (17-5-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) on Saturday’s card in what very well could be a title eliminator for the next shot at Shevchenko’s (18-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) 125-pound belt. A crack at UFC gold is something Chookagian long has been pursuing, and she expects it to happen.
