ABU DHABI – The UFC will crown a new light heavyweight champion Saturday night on “Fight Island.” Recent title challenger Dominick Reyes (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) takes on surging contender Jan Blachowicz (26-8 MMA, 9-5 UFC) for the vacant 205-pound belt in the UFC 253 co-main event. The title became open after Jon Jones vacated it to move up to heavyweight. Blachowicz weighed in early in the two-hour official window and was 205 pounds, right on the championship limit. Reyes was 205, as well.
