BANGOR, Maine – Ovince Saint Preux  may still one day prove to be a legitimate light heavyweight contender, but he’s still just one step behind the division’s best, as Ryan Bader  proved en route to a unanimous decision win. The light heavyweight bout was the main event of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 47 event at Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2. Saint Preux’s confidence was evident as the bout started, and he let his hands hand glow as he looked to strike fro the center. However, Bader turned quickly to his wrestling roots, dumping Saint Preux on the floor in the opening minute. To Saint Preux’s credit, he was able to get quickly back to his feet, but Bader matched him in the standup department by flashing a crisp, technical approach against his opponent’s more creative and unpredictable style.
